Marissa Dermer, CPA – President
In 2006, Marissa Dermer, CPA started the accounting and business consulting firm of Marissa Dermer Consulting, Inc. She felt that accounting and CPA firms needed to be more involved in order for their clients to be successful. Since this time she has grown her firm by remaining dedicated to assisting a multitude of clients with accounting, mergers and acquisitions support. She believes in adding value in terms of profit, structure, and peace of mind to each of her clients that she serves. Marissa is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15 years of experience, Marissa currently serves clients in the retail, wholesale, medical billing, and management services industries. She has extensive experience in SEC reporting.
In 1990, Marissa graduated from SUNY Albany, Albany, NY with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Prior to becoming president of Marissa Dermer Consulting, Inc., Marissa held several prominent positions in the finance field including Auditor for Berdon & Co, LLP, Controller for Paine Webber Asset Management, Controller for Evolve One, Inc. and CFO for Onspan Networking. Throughout Marissa’s professional experience, she successfully prepared financial statements, budgets, forecasts, audits, and reviews.
